Envoy was a short lived R&B Christian group out of Tacoma consisting of four members, Seraphine, Rhonda Kinlow, Toyah Kinlow and Xola Malik, better known as Kid Sensation. It’s somewhat of a family affair as Rhonda and Toyah are sisters & Seraphine is their aunt. Produced, written, arranged & mixed (and keyboards) by Xola. The song, “Single Mothers Anthem” is also a song on Xola’s album, Songs For Change. Rhonda is featured on the Songs For Change, as well as another Tacoma R&B artists album, Marcus L. Windham – Passion & Fire. Toyah was part of the choir on Liturgy – Associated Artists, a music project to benefit Hilltop Health Ministries. This list was created by xpanther206 on the NW Siccness forum in 2005, so in no way am I taking credit for it no matter how on point it is! However, I did dig in to my collection and put them all together in one downloadable link so everyone on the site could enjoy! I realized the link is still live so I might as well share it. When I put this together I had all but 17 songs (dang it!). I haven’t gone back to check and see if I can update that, but oh well, here is the best that I could do back then. Listen here!
